Standard Construction:
14 AWG [1.63 mm (0.064 in)] copper covered steel 
center conductor, gas expanded polyethylene dielectric,
inner shield aluminum-polypropylene-aluminium laminated
tape with overlap bonded to dielectric, outer shield of
34 AWG (0.16 mm) bare aluminum braid wire, jacket of
black PVC (LSZH optional) Nominal outside diameter is
10.03mm (0.395 in.) Messenger Breaking Strength (min)

Tip
Messenger Wire Separation
The force required to separate the messenger section 
of the cable from the coaxial section shall be a minimum 
of 3 pounds (13.3N) and a maximum of 15 pounds (66.7N) 
when tested in accordance with ANSI/SCTE 61.
When separating co-joined members, i.e. messengered,
dual or Siamese type cables in the filed, it is recommended
that the separation be performed using a shearing method 
as opposed to a tearing action. Start the separation with 
a knife or diagonal cutters. The shear method will help to 
prevent jacket splitting and tearing on either side of the 
web. (Follow standard ANSI/SCTE 61 2002)
